Wish you could have breakfast any time of the day? Then rise and slurp, because your time is now.
Nissin Foods, the manufacturer of Cup Noodles, has unleashed a ‘Breakfast’ variation that rolls the flavors of breakfast favorites into one. Sure, you could just have a wrap, but there’s apparently nothing quite like a greasy fry-up you can drink.
Cup Noodles Breakfast emulates the flavors of “pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, and eggs” altogether—which, to be fair, sounds like a luxury considering how expensive eggs are these days. Instead of broth, the noodles are slathered in a sauce.
Cup Noodles says it understands the pain of the morning grind, and it assures customers its version of breakfast can be prepared within four minutes, in a cup.
“We know our products are a go-to meal any time of the day… so by adding Cup Noodles Breakfast to our line-up we are truly feeding cravings around the clock—morning, noon, night or late night,” expresses Priscila Stanton, senior vice president of Nissin Foods USA.
Don’t snooze on this launch for too long, though. Cup Noodles Breakfast is a limited-edition flavor, meaning that the early bird still catches the worm-shaped curly noodles. It’s now being served at select Walmart stores for US$1.18 a pop.
