Prada Caffè Opens At Harrods London, Take A Step Inside The Luxurious Space
By Alexa Heah, 12 Apr 2023
Patrons at Harrods London can now take a literal step inside the luxurious world of Prada, as the Italian label recently opened the doors to its café, offering customers an experience filled with the brand’s iconic visual hallmarks—ranging from the interior decor to the menu and tableware.
Within Prada Caffè, one will immediately notice how all of the walls, ceilings, and velvet-upholstered sofas share the house’s iconic green hue, complemented by a black-and-white chequered floor reminiscent of the historic boutique on Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
Even the tableware and cutlery used in the establishment are exclusive, with the pale-blue Japanese porcelain and blown-glass crystal glassware having been specially selected to match the surroundings while incorporating the brand’s iconic triangular motif.
Visitors can tuck into a wide range of delectable Italian dishes, all the way from breakfast to evening cocktails, including the likes of sandwiches, risotto, buffalo mozzarella, crab dishes, and of course, signature negroni- and spritz-based cocktails.
Not one to refuse sweet treats, the brand has made pastries the star of the show in the café, and they are displayed on both the central counter and on the wall. Patrons on the go can drop by to purchase takeaway sweets from one of the mint-green counters within the store.
Prada Caffè will be open from March 31, 2023, to January 7, 2024, from 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday, and from 12 pm to 6 pm on Sunday. An outdoor stall offering ice cream is soon set to join the restaurant.
