Honeydukes could never conjure up such a treat.
Two magical worlds—that of Harry Potter and the Wes Anderson films—collide in a stunning clip generated by former Google AI designer Tony Aubé using generative artificial intelligence.
The amusing video blends the concepts of the viral Harry Potter by Balenciaga fan series with TikTok’s wholesome Wes Anderson-inspired challenge, and introduces viewers to a quirky-looking cast against well-framed, pastel backdrops—a refreshing change for the usually dim scenes of the Wizarding World.
We see some familiar faces: a young Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, a wide-eyed Alan Rickman as Severus Snape, and Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall. The other figures, although bearing the original actors’ names, don’t resemble the stars as much but appear closer to characters from Anderson’s works… complete with the inquisitive raised eyebrow.

For now, AI is the closest Muggles can get to magic, but it does make for a worthy substitute. We could use it to reimagine Harry’s birthday cake, new spells, or even an improved, Escher-like staircase for Hogwarts (or the Dursley’s stairs where the protagonist once lived).
If wizards harnessed AI instead of magic, they’d have probably identified horcruxes even more quickly too.
