The North Face Debuts First Jewelry Line, Designed To Be Timeless
By Alexa Heah, 17 May 2023

For the first time, The North Face is releasing a jewelry line. And for its first foray into all things silver, the fashion label has decided to partner Danish-Irish designer Maria Black to create a limited-edition run of responsibly-sourced pieces.
The collection, according to Black, who founded her eponymous brand in 2010, pairs design and materials that represent both The North Face’s “legacy in the mountains” and the jeweler’s “contemporary, industrial look.”

As with the rest of the jewelry line’s offerings, each piece from the collaboration appears simple, understated, and minimalist on purpose—allowing the wearer to explore his or her own style instead of being pigeonholed by the designer.
Each of the silver bracelets, rings, and necklaces is crafted to be worn in “constantly shifting landscapes,” allowing its wearer to constantly uncover and rediscover how each piece can be styled in different settings.

Unfortunately, those thinking of getting their hands on the collection may find it a more difficult endeavor than just waltzing into the nearest store. The North Face x Maria Black will only be available as part of a giveaway through The North Face UK.
“We are happy to announce a very special project alongside The North Face. A seemingly unlikely collaboration that turned out to be an excellent match,” summed up Black. Hopefully, this is just the start of the fashion brand’s journey into the world of jewelry design.
