AI Reimagines Packaging Designs In Iconic Styles Of History’s Famed Artists
By Alexa Heah, 08 Jun 2023
While some of us have had the fortune of admiring some of history’s greatest artworks in museums and pop-up exhibitions, what if the world had access to these iconic artists’ creativity in simple, everyday items?
To reimagine what it’d be like if the packaging of common items—including tea boxes, coffee bags, and wine bottles—were designed by 10 of the most famed creative minds, we merged silhouettes of familiar food and household products with instantly-recognizable art styles.
Here’s what these items would look like if they took on the aesthetics of Matisse, Van Gogh, Hokusai, Hopper, and more—all illustrated via the artificial intelligence tool, Midjourney.
Chocolate Box as designed by Henri Matisse
Coffee Bag as designed by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
Wine Bottle as designed by Edgar Degas
Drink Carton as designed by Edward Hopper
Hand Cream Tube as designed by Georges Seurat
Hand Soap Bottle as designed by Paul Cézanne
Ice Cream Pints as designed by Katsushika Hokusai
Tea Box as designed by Claude Monet
Takeout Box as designed by William Morris

If only all of these items could fill our interiors in real life.
