For context, the Golden Arches in Brazil asked the chatbot what it thought was the most iconic burger in the world. To which, the tool named the world-famous Big Mac as its answer.
Just days later, Burger King Brazil pulled a similar move, by way of advertising agency DAVID São Paulo, to ask: “And which [burger] is the biggest?”
For an even meatier jab, Burger King placed its creatives right next to its rival’s across locations in the city of São Paulo. The reactionary stunt is the result of a smooth coordination and “the agility and creativity” between the agency’s creative and media teams, and the client.
Just like the Big Mac colors in McDonald’s poster, Burger King stylized its copy to mirror the Whopper.
