Balenciaga Lets You Complete Top-To-Toe Denim Looks With Its Latest Sneaker
By Alexa Heah, 21 Jul 2023

The Canadian Tuxedo—a denim jacket paired with jeans of the same material—isn’t new. After all, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake etched themselves into pop-culture history when they both showed up to the American Music Awards in matching outfits.
Now, in true Balenciaga fashion, the luxury label known for its quirky releases is giving fashion enthusiasts the chance to up the ante on the fashion taboo. Instead of just opting for a denim top and bottoms (jorts, anyone?), one can now complete the look with denim-clad sneakers.

The Triple S sneaker, which was first launched in 2017, has undergone a recent makeover, unlike the regular colorways of the cult-status shoe. It appears the footwear is taking on a Y2K aesthetic with its blue denim appearance.
Featuring the iconic chunky sole silhouette, the shoe comes with a denim upper in a classic light blue wash, complete with laces and outsoles decked out in the same paneling. The jean material is broken up by bits of white hues, including an embroidered logo at the toe.
Head here for more details on the release, which is now available for purchase at US$1,100.
