The UNIQLO bag—you know the one—is dressing up smartly for the fall. In time for the cooler seasons, it has arrived in a corduroy finish to coordinate perfectly with your coat and boots.
The barebones accessory has been a fashion underdog, surprising all when it shot up past coveted luxury items in ranking to become fashion’s “hottest” product in Q1 2023, as assessed by the respectable, data-driven Lyst Index.

The Round Mini Shoulder Bag owes much of its prominence to TikTok, where it went viral for its remarkable versatility. UNIQLO describes the piece as “deceptively roomy,” a feature that strikes a chord with shoppers, who have nicknamed it the “Mary Poppins bag.”

Like the original Round Mini Shoulder Bag, the newer version has ample space for your smartphone or a long wallet, as well as an inner pocket for your keys. However, it doesn’t have the diverse color options of the other, which also comes in hues like yellow and purple for expressive Gen Z individuals.

Predictably, the corduroy bag doesn’t tout the same water-repellent finish of its nylon counterpart, but UNIQLO details that it’s still workout-friendly.
