Fanta has been stirring up curiosity since 2022 with its ‘What The Fanta?’ campaign, and this Halloween is no exception. It’s back with a new mystery flavor that’s bound to add a touch of mystery to your sips (and your tongue).

So, what’s the deal with this Halloween edition? Well, it’s not your usual orange Fanta. This one is a spooky shade of jet black, setting the stage for some eerie flavor exploration. The label is monochromatic, featuring cobwebs, spiders, bats, and an ominous full moon that screams Halloween.

When you sip on the soda, it will temporarily turn your tongue black, adding just a little touch of spookiness just in time for Halloween.

On the back of each label is a QR code where you’ll find games to play, clues about the flavor, and even the chance to win prizes.

As for its flavor, under Fanta’s comment section on Instagram, many suggest it’s some type of berry, with some of the more common guesses leaning toward blackberry and blueberry.

If you’re up for a mysterious flavor adventure, keep an eye out for ‘What The Fanta?’ Halloween edition. You can snag it in 20oz bottles, 7.5oz mini-cans, and at select Coca-Cola Freestyle and frozen dispensers in select locations in the US.
