Domino’s is making the cheesy stretch for those days when nothing seems to go right. It has introduced an Emergency Pizza service, offering almost instant, trust crust-worthy relief.
The Emergency Pizza program promises a free medium two-topping pizza whenever you find yourself in need of a snackable rescue.
There’s no need to break any glass to get your hands on a slice of savory aid. All you’ll need to do is place an online or digital order worth US$7.99 or more at Domino’s. You can take advantage of the offer until February 11, 2024.
The packaging, mirroring emergency door release boxes, urges eaters to “open in case of pizza cravings,” and comes with arrows telling them where to lift to quickly alleviate their hunger. The witty campaign was dreamed up by advertising agency WorkInProgress.

“This pizza cannot be used as a flotation device,” the box warns. Additionally, it reminds customers to “eat your pizza before assisting others with theirs.”
To redeem your Emergency Pizza, head over to the ‘My Deals & Rewards’ page on Domino’s Rewards, the chain’s new and revamped loyalty program. You’ll need to log in within a week of your purchase, though you’ve got a generous 30-day window to enjoy your piping-hot freebie.

Pizza can soothe all kinds of problems, which is why Domino’s is lending a slice of comfort the best way it knows how.
“Perhaps you burned dinner, the power went out or maybe your in-laws just dropped in without notice,” says Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president – chief brand officer. “Whatever your emergency situation, Domino’s believes a free pizza can make anything better.”
Trumbull adds: “With so much uncertainty in everyday life, we believe everyone needs a pizza pick-me-up at some point! The hardest part may just be deciding when to use your Emergency Pizza!”

The next time you “stub your toe, fail organic chemistry, lose your lunch to a wild animal, get a flat tire, shave off an eye, roll your ankle, or accidentally reply all to a company-wide email, you’ll have an Emergency Pizza ready and waiting,” notes Matt Talbot, partner and chief creative officer at WorkInProgress.
