Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg does mixed martial arts, makes dresses for his children using a 3D printer, and surfs. What can’t he do? Well, up until recently, braid hair. But that’s another skill he’s just added to his belt, thanks to his Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.
Showing off the prowess of the new intelligent eyewear, Zuckerberg got its built-in Meta assistant to teach him to “make a braid” for his daughter.
The voice advised him to first brush the hair to remove tangles, then separate it into three equal sections. Finally, “begin a basic braid by crossing the right section over the middle, followed by the left section over the middle, and so on.”
An evident first-timer, Zuckerberg struggled to accomplish the task but managed, nonetheless. “Learn a new skill every day,” he wrote in his video.
The new Meta Ray-Bans, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform, boasts enhanced comfort and quality, including improved directional audio and custom-designed speakers with extended bass for clearer calls and music playback.
They’re also equipped with an ultra-wide 12-megapixel camera, which Zuckerberg made use of to show his wife, Priscilla, his masterpiece. The glasses transmitted the photo via WhatsApp, which is another thing they can do.
The new Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses arrive in the classic Wayfarer silhouette, along with a Headliner design that Zuckerberg appears to sport in this post.
