Victoria’s Secret is hoping to unclasp barriers. Following a long history of excluding everyday women, the lingerie label has now launched adaptive bras and panties that cater to wearers with disabilities.

These intimates, which made their debut at the Runway of Dreams show during New York Fashion Week, are now available under the new VS Adaptive and PINK Adaptive ranges.

“We realized our products weren’t catering to a large demographic that could and should be a part of what we offer as a brand. Now, we’ve taken action to change that,” the brand acknowledges. Women with adaptive needs finally have options—the pieces are available in both the Victoria’s Secret and PINK lines and arrive in various sizes and styles, ensuring that all shoppers not only feel great but also look fabulous.

Importantly, the new adaptive bras and panties come with thoughtful features, including magnetic closures for easy on and off, front strap adjustors, sensory-friendly fabric, and one-piece constructions, These modifications are designed to accommodate wearers with physical and sensory needs, such as those with arthritis, autism, and cerebral palsy.

Since this is new territory for Victoria’s Secret, the brand partnered with GAMUT Management, a consulting and talent company dedicated to working with people with disabilities. As a result, it became “the first intimates apparel brand” to receive the GAMUT Seal of Approval, a symbol that assures customers that these adaptive products are certified friendly for the disability space.

Starting at prices as low as US$16.50 for panties and US$36.95 for bras, these adaptive intimates make inclusivity more accessible and demonstrate that fashion can be for everyone.
