Eggo is treating your floor to the most important meal of the day: waffles! The breakfast foods maker has joined forces with vacuum cleaner brand Bissell and buttering up to busy parents with the ‘EggoVac’.
Resembling a scrumptious toaster waffle in appearance, this homestyle robotic vacuum is being served to simplify post-breakfast cleanups on hectic mornings. Harnessing powerful cleaning technology by Bissell, the EggoVac is a modified version of the company’s flagship SpinWave R5, which is engineered with a two-in-one solution to suck up dust and debris and mop up messes.
So, naturally, the ability to clean up crumbs and wipe off stick waffle syrup is baked into its ecosystem.

The EggoVac is being rolled out in time for the holidays, when things can get especially chaotic for families—in a good way, of course.
“Eggo knows that, although easy and delicious, waffles and kids often lead to crumby situations. We’re partnering with Bissell to introduce the EggoVac, so we can go beyond breakfast and help with the cleanups too,” explains Joe Beauprez, senior director of marketing for frozen foods at Kellanova (formerly the Kellogg Company).
“We want to give parents that much-needed, extra set of hands during the holidays. With the EggoVac, we’re making the chore of cleaning as easy as the click of a button, so parents can L’Eggo and let us do the crumb-collecting for you!”
But delivering an Eggo-themed robovac without actual Eggos on the side will likely leave many disappointed. Not to mention, hungry. The three-second rule does not apply for mechanical food impostors.
To that end, the two brands are sweetening the deal by pairing “enough Eggo waffles to fill your freezer” with every purchase of the appliance. We’re not sure how they went about crunching the numbers, but apparently, “enough Eggo waffles” means US$50 worth of them.
The icing syrup on top of the cake waffles is that Eggo is “dropping the EggoVac price like it’s hot (breakfast)” and retailing it for US$150, 70% off the price of the regular Bissell vacuum cleaner. How’s that for a satisfying serving?
