LEGO is immortalizing a piece of cultural history with the new LEGO Icons Natural History Museum Set. This 4,014-part kit also takes the crown as the largest modular set in terms of piece count.
The two-story model boasts a variety of intriguing features, including dual atriums, a removable roof and middle floor, and a profusion of brick-built exhibits laden with intricate details. Minifigures will be greeted with a brick-built Brachiosaurus skeleton in the museum’s entrance that spans from the first to the second floor.
Other plastic relics depict fossils, a sabretooth tooth, and dinosaur eggs.
Further inside is the geology section that houses stalagmites, geodes, quartz, and even a glimpse into the Earth’s molten core.
A section dedicated to space can be found on the second floor with an orrery of our solar system, a map depicting the planet and the projected orbit of a new rocket, and a futuristic space base.
The kit also includes a museum curator and their own office, as well as a stray dog hunting down a bone round the back and a window washer out front, keeping the museum nice and clean. It can also snap with other sets to make a street scene.
The LEGO Icons Natural History Museum Set is a tiny and fun platform for significant moments in world history, bridging the past and the future. The model is now available online for US$299.99.
