Unilever is bringing a delightful range of festive knits to (super)market with notjust clothing, a Christmas sweater enthusiast and social enterprise.
Unlike the usual ugly outerwear that feature the likes of Santa Claus, reindeer, or elves, these highlight three beloved British grocery brands: Marmite, Pot Noodle, and Colman’s Mustard.
Aside from the cheeky nod to some of the most recognizable staples, half of the profits from the sale of this winter collection will be donated to The Trussell Trust, a nationwide network of food banks that provides essential food to those in need.
Leading the lineup is the Marmite festive garment, priced at £39.99 (US$50). Adorned with the brand’s pots, spread on toast, and with its iconic logo on the front, the sweatshirt hopes to “Spread the Christmas Cheer.”
Next, the Pot Noodle Christmas knit screams fun with 3D noodle frills bursting out of a festive cup on the front. Complete with a tongue-in-cheek “All I Want for Christmas is Noods” slogan on the back, this sweater is a playful homage to the popular instant noodle brand.
Last but not least, the Colman’s Mustard apparel delivers a punch of flavor with its vibrant yellow base, showcasing the iconic condiment’s branding. The design incorporates red motifs, including the classic mustard pot silhouette and the trademark Colman’s Bull.
For those who want to take their mustard-inspired fashion to the next level, a matching scarf and beanie are available to complete the entire look. Head here for more information.
