In a quest to uncover the world’s most inspirational destinations, the tech giant has tapped into Yelp and TripAdvisor, pairing their findings with insights from 1,000 digital nomads. The study reveals intriguing destinations and strategies for rekindling creative sparks.
Cities like Las Vegas, New York City, London, Paris, and Orlando top the list for creatives seeking inspiration.

Meanwhile, Japan, the US, and Belgium are noted for having abundant shared office spaces in their major cities, a crucial factor for many digital nomads.
Those who burn the midnight oil tend to stay creatively charged, while early risers might struggle more with inspiration dips. Contrarily, environments like meeting rooms, offices, or Zoom calls are seen as creativity dampeners by over 23% of nomads.
18% of digital nomads frequently face a creative drought, but 72% find that there’s hope yet: a change of scenery can reignite their creative energies.
When it comes to rejuvenating their creative minds, over half of the digital nomads recommend stepping outside. Nature-rich mountains and coastal areas are especially favored for their inspirational qualities. Interestingly, around 16% find their creative juices gushing in places like the shower.
Chicago, nicknamed the Windy City, has been identified as a hotspot for inspiration on TripAdvisor. Sharm El Sheikh is the city linked to creativity, while Rome sparks motivation, Cuba is recognized for entrepreneurship, and Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands is known for its “vibe.”

Adobe advises creatives to prepare for their trips with a mood board of the city, capturing the essence of their destination through sights, sounds, and experiences.
“Visualize what type of inspiration you’re looking for and where you can find it, such as restaurants, tourist attractions, museums, and activities,” the company suggests.
The brand says creatives can document their experience by filming a video throughout their journey. This visual diary can be a continuous source of inspiration, even after the journey ends. “Once you’re home, you can watch your video for inspiration again and again without having to buy another ticket.”
The study also highlights the impact of daily routines on creativity. Night owls seem to have an edge in maintaining creative flow compared to early risers. Incorporating physical activities, self-care, and time outdoors can further enhance one’s creative process.
