There’s an official Tesla Cybertruck for kids; now, there are baby shoes for adults. MSCHF, the New York-based art collective best known for going up against Nike with its ‘Satan Shoes’, is taking some giant baby steps with its new Super Baby collection.
Drawing inspiration from the colorful and chunky elements of children’s footwear, the trio invites grownups to relive their most pivotal years in a stylish way.

The launch comprises three eye-catching designs, each with its distinct personality. ‘Oscar’ combines a sleek white base with striking red highlights, while ‘Ollie’ bursts onto the scene with a vivid primary-color palette of yellow, green, blue, and red. The third design, ‘Olivia’, captures the essence of the Y2K era with reflective silver and pink accents, adding a retro-futuristic vibe.

The brand explains that it’s bringing kids’ shoes to wearers who can appreciate—and remember—them. “Seasons turn and chunky shoes get chunkier. Baby shoes look great,” the art pranksters detail.

“Often, the most sartorially-dunked-on one can be is when confronted with a baby who is better dressed than you. It’s a shame that babies grow so fast it’s basically pointless to buy them shoes. Let’s make them for adults who can appreciate them properly!"

Well, it’s smart that the selection is targeted at adult sneakerheads, because infants don’t yet have the disposable income.

All styles in the collection showcase MSCHF logos on the side panels and ‘Super Baby’ details on the heel. The Super Baby sneakers were released on December 5, 2023, and were available through a draw on the MSCHF website and app, with each pair priced at US$250.
