Got an appetite for sugary sweets instead of, erm, an Apple? Caviar, reputed for its extravagant, over-the-top gadget customizations, might have just the treat for you—the only thing is it’s about the price of an actual iPhone.
The brand’s new “iPhone 15 Pro Max” is made entirely of chocolate and covered in edible 23-karat gold. This sweet take on tech is priced at US$1,100, roughly the same as the standard 256 GB iPhone 15 Pro Max, which costs US$1,199.

Inspired by the whimsical world of the Timothée Chalamet-starring film Wonka, Caviar has transformed the most tantalizing mobile device of the year into a handheld chocolate masterpiece. The result, mirroring the design of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, is composed of 68% cocoa beans and features a blend of an almond cookie flavor with a creamy tang. Biting into it leaves a spicy aftertaste that lingers for about half a minute, says the personalizer.

The attention to detail is remarkable, with detailed recreations of the Apple logo and the triple-camera setup, all crafted in chocolate and edible gold. This gold, known as additive E175, is safe for consumption, hypoallergenic, and chemically neutral.

While the real iPhone 15 Pro Max is a long-term investment, Caviar’s chocolate version only takes a couple of mega-bites (ha!) to get through. Admirers of the grand objects might delight in knowing that this release is one of the brand’s most affordable additions, though it helps that every other offering is made out of materials like pure gold and diamonds.
