Is your wrist replacing your pocket as the new tech frontier? Fire-Boltt, a brand specializing in wearable and audio products, is preparing to launch its very first ‘WristPhone’, a device it has trumpeted to potentially make smartphones passé.
Fire-Boltt is second only to Apple in smartwatch manufacturing, and now it’s propelling its technology forward to bring more intelligent wrist devices.

The WristPhone boasts an Android system and offers a suite of smartphone features on a 2.02-inch screen, including crystal-clear calls, app browsing, GPS, True Wireless Stereo (TWS) and more. As for its appearance, it looks uncannily similar to the Apple Watch. It’s powered by a Cortex Quad-Core CPU and Mali GPU, and has room for 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, and an 800mAh battery with a runtime of up to 10 days, as well as is IP 67 water-resistant.

The WristPhone has a SIM card slot and supports 4G LTE nano-SIM and Wi-Fi for all-day connectivity. Its Android OS-Fire OS allows users to dive into a world of apps from the Google Play Store, while the inbuilt Google keyboard and voice input make messaging and commands accessible without your regular smartphone.

Despite the WristPhone being three times smaller than a typical smartphone, Fire-Boltt attempts to pack functionality into the gadget.

Users can chat on WhatsApp, interact with Google Assistant, play games, stream shows, and even order food delivery from the convenience of their wrist.

Fire-Boltt’s promotional material is peppered with bold claims, dubbing that the product will create a “seismic shift that’s about to remix our expectations of convenience, mobility, and connection,” alongside other expressions that, frankly, read like AI-written copy.
The straps of the watch-sized smartphone are available in 12 colorways, ranging from ‘Cherry Hug’ to ‘Sky Sizzle’.

The WristPhone is said to be arriving “shortly.” On its landing page on Flipkart, India’s leading e-commerce site, the model is stated to be priced at 24,999 Indian rupees (US$300).
