OpenAI is making teamwork the dream work with a new subscription plan called ChatGPT Team, tailored to meet the dynamic needs of modern organizations with a unique set of productive artificial intelligence features and a collaborative workspace.
ChatGPT Team is positioned as an affordable toolset for businesses seeking to leverage the latest in generative AI, priced at US$25 per team member per month when billed annually, or a slightly higher US$30 for monthly billing. Subscribers gain access to coveted GPT models, including GPT-4 with Vision and browsing.
Envisioned as a versatile productivity platform, ChatGPT Team aids in tasks ranging from data visualization and email automation to coding assistance, effectively serving as an AI assistant for each team member.
Moreover, ChatGPT Team enables teams to customize their AI experience. With shared custom GPTs, small to medium businesses can tailor the AI to their specific needs, be it for project management, code generation, data analysis, or crafting brand-aligned content—no coding experience required. This personalized approach is further bolstered by the recent launch of the GPT Store, offering a selection of popular and useful GPTs directly within the workspace.

Importantly, the service stresses that data entered into these secure tools won’t be used for AI training, ensuring confidentiality.
ChatGPT Team members also enjoy early access to new features and improvements, along with higher message caps for tools like DALL-E and GPT-4, as well as an extended 32k context window for GPT-4 for more comprehensive interactions with the chatbot. The package comes complete with an admin console for efficient workspace and team management, ensuring smooth operations and effective oversight.
The option is a scaled-down version of the ChatGPT Enterprise plan used by industry giants like The Estée Lauder Companies, Canva, and Zapier—only this time, it’s cheaper and more accessible.
