Japanese design house nendo is once again shaking up how we enjoy a cold one. Its Perfect 3Way Glass has got a trick up its sleeve—or, as its name suggests, three tricks, thanks to a unique design that enhances how you taste your beer.
The drinkware is created for Sapporo’s Kuro Label, which, since 1977, has been on a mission to brew the “perfect draft beer” and focuses on a balance that tickles the taste buds just right. Nendo’s solution, too, is dedicated to flavor and aroma as the Kuro Label is to its beverage.

The glass has three sides, each introduced to offer a different beer-drinking experience.

You start with the straight side to get a direct hit of crispness as the beer flows straight to the back of your mouth.
Then, switch to the curved side, where a special bulb captures the drink’s aroma, filling your mouth with a rich bouquet of flavors.
Finally, the bulbous side lets the beer spread out over your tongue, giving you full control over how much you sip, ensuring you catch all those complex flavors.

The glass turns a casual night of drinking into a full experience. With its trio of distinct sides, it’s kind of like having three beers at the same time, each bringing out a different side of the Kuro Label’s taste profile. Cheers to that!
