Heinz is raising a glass—or rather, a squeeze bottle—to the unsung heroes at every dinner table: the ketchup virtuoso. Everyday Heroes, its latest campaign cooked up by BETC Paris, shines a light on the often-misunderstood “artists” of condiment control, whose work is deemed by many as splotches and messes. With the 2024 Paris Olympics approaching this month, the all-encompassing sauce brand has dreamed up its own version of Olympic medals.

From the satisfying “thwap” of a perfectly opened bottle to the averted disaster of a near-T-shirt tragedy, these everyday victories are the ketchup crusades we can all appreciate. Their triumphs, big or small, deserve recognition.

The campaign goes beyond just a celebration of skill. It cleverly reflects Heinz’s own brand identity. After all, Heinz ketchup inspires a fiercely loyal following, so who better to celebrate than its most devoted fans? This initiative deliciously reminds us that the taste of victory, however messy it may be, can be oh-so-sweet, especially when drizzled with that je ne sais quois.
