Apple iPhone 16 Launch Serves Up Fresh Batch Of Tech Memes

Apple has officially unveiled its 2024 iPhone lineup, and as sure as night follows day, a new series means a fresh flood of memes. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models have once again stoked some amusement among users, whether it’s about the ever-slight changes in design or if it’s time for an upgrade.

For a slight refresher, the iPhone 16 sports a 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with a 60Hz refresh rate, and a brightness that can hit a notable 2,000 nits. It promises up to 22 hours of video playback, powered by the new A18 chip.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro steps up the game with a 6.3-inch screen, a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, and the more powerful A18 Pro chip. It also extends battery life to 27 hours of video.
On the photography front, both models are armed with a 48MP fusion camera, but the Pro kicks it up a notch. It adds an ultrawide 48MP lens and a 12MP telephoto option with 5x optical zoom. The newly designed rear camera bump now showcases a duo of lenses: a high-resolution 48-megapixel main shooter paired with a versatile 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Both phones embrace USB-C charging and continue to support MagSafe wireless charging. With an IP68 rating for water resistance, they’re built to survive the occasional splash or dunk.
