Crocs is putting its best foot forward for the planet with the launch of its new ‘Keep It Going Classic Clog’, a limited-edition style that’s giving old shoes a new lease on life.
This special clog is crafted from 25% post-consumer recycled content sourced directly from well-loved Crocs collected through the brand’s eco-conscious Old Crocs. New Life. initiative.

Crocs’ original intention with its recycling program is to pass shoes still in wearable condition forward to those in need. Gently used pairs that still have some miles left in them are donated to Soles4Souls, an international nonprofit that creates economic opportunities in communities worldwide. It’s only the well-worn Crocs that can’t be salvaged that get broken down and reborn as these new clogs.

The Keep It Going Classic Clog tells its own sustainability story through thoughtful design. Featuring Crocs’ signature Croslite material, the clog now includes bio-circular content derived from plant-based byproducts. Each pair sports a unique ‘Moon Dust’ colorway, which looks like a concrete base dotted with visible bits of recycled material.

No two clogs are alike. The specks are a direct reflection of the variety of old Crocs used in the process, with some of their vibrant life still peeking through the almond silhouette.

Other playful touches reminding wearers of the shoe’s origin story include a ‘Keep It Going’ debossed into the inner backstraps, in addition to a special rivet logo featuring the Crocs mascot, Duke, and arrows as a circular reminder. Despite its eco-credentials, the clog retains the comfort and versatility of the original. It’s still lightweight, water-friendly, and easy to clean, with a pivoting heel strap for a secure fit.

Deanna Bratter, Crocs’ chief sustainability officer, credits the company’s fans for making this circular initiative possible.

“I want to thank every Crocs fan who brought in or sent back their old Crocs shoes so we could explore ways to give them a new life. This type of circularity program only works when consumers engage and are willing to do some good in the world together,” says Bratter. “Fueled by our fans, we are making strides in our ambition to create more circular systems of production and consumption, and ultimately delivering against our commitment to bring Comfort for the Planet.”
At US$49.99, this limited-edition release—available now online and in select US retail locations—offers the same accessible price as the original Classic Clog, now with an added dose of sustainability.
