When a die-hard Heinz fan also named Heinz tied the knot last weekend, the ketchup company—who received an invite—decided to add some flavor to the celebration.
In collaboration with The Kitchen, its in-house creative agency, Heinz teamed up with Chicago-based condiment artist Ethan Chan to create a “something new,” a saucy complement to his bride Michelle’s white dress. Enter the Heinz Packet Jacket, a heartfelt mosaic of the iconic ketchup sachets tailored for Heinz.
Adding another dash of zest to the proceedings, a decorative board—printed with the shape of the brand’s signature label—displayed the names of the happy couple. The groom, along with his groomsmen, even posed for photos holding squeeze bottles of Heinz ketchup.
Heinz, the groom, was clearly over the moon about his wedding gift. Taking to the brand’s Instagram to pen a thank-you note to both the company and Chan for the “masterpiece,” he vowed, “I’ll treasure it forever, just like I treasure every ketchup packet! From the bottom of my heart (and my fridge), thank you!”

“If it’s a Heinz Wedding, it has to be Heinz,” the brand quips.
And for those left feeling a little envious, Heinz has hinted that more Packet Jackets might be up for grabs. Details on a future giveaway will soon be revealed on the brand’s social media for a chance to cop some ketchup couture.
