Coca-Cola is pouring out the festive spirit once again, and this time, there’s a tiny drop of AI in its formula. The company’s 2024 holiday campaign, reiterating that “The World Needs More Santas,” brings back some familiar favorites while introducing a few modern twists to get everyone in the festive spirit.
Central to this year’s campaign is the return of the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour, which will be making its way through major cities in the UK. For every visitor who comes to see the holiday staple, Coca-Cola will donate the equivalent of a meal to FareShare, a charity focused on tackling food waste and hunger across the UK. The goal is to provide up to one million meals during the Christmas season.

The beloved Holidays Are Coming spot is being updated this year with an AI-generated reinterpretation. While the classic visuals and festive vibes remain, Coca-Cola has used artificial intelligence to give the commercial a fresh, modern twist. This updated version will be broadcast across the UK later this month.
In the same vein, Coca-Cola has also launched a festive AI-powered experience that lets users interact with Santa and create personalized snow globe animations to share with friends and family.
The holiday cheer extends to Coca-Cola’s out-of-home advertising too. Across billboards and festive Coke cans, classic branding has been reimagined with Christmas touches—Santa riding along the famous white wave of the logo, and Coke bottle silhouettes decorating baubles.
