Elon Musk Could Showcase Neuralink’s Progress With Live Human Demo This Week

Elon Musk has been working on his Neuralink technology, which aims to connect the human brain with computers.
The progress of the technology will soon be unveiled in a live demonstration on 28th August 2020, according to Musk’s tweet.
“[I] will show neurons firing in real-time on 28 August,” he tweeted. “The matrix in the matrix.”
Back in February, Musk optimistically shared that the Neuralink could possibly be fixed “in a human as soon as this year,” leaving many to suspect that the upcoming event will likely announce the launch of human trials.
The Tesla CEO also boasted that his Neuralink brain chip could transmit music into the brain directly back in July.
However, the main focus of the startup is to help “control hormone levels” and boost brain functions, including “enhanced abilities and reasoning and anxiety relief.”
