Designer Outdoes Apple’s Redesigned Bagel By Creating 5 More Distinct Versions
By Yoon Sann Wong, 17 Oct 2018
Apple’s latest redesigned bagel emoji, which was given a more scrumptious graphic overhaul—cream cheese included—to salvage its former lackluster design that’s shown directly below, might have appeased many bagel lovers out there, but not Danish designer Michael Flarup.
The Copenhagen-based creative took to Twitter to share his proposed solution comprising not one, but five additional distinct versions of this New York City favorite.
“This is how we fix the bagel issue, people,” he captioned with the image that includes a design comprising sun-dried tomatoes.
Despite the wider selection, there remain calls for additional options such as cinnamon raisin and smoked salmon.
The best designer minds of my generation are doing some really important work right now. 🙌 https://t.co/jAEuCzOq1P— Mike Davidson (@mikeindustries) October 16, 2018
