Samsung’s highly anticipated foldable smartphone is rumored to unveil at its tech conference on 7 November in San Francisco.
The upcoming bendable gadget could potentially be named either the Galaxy X or Galaxy F, with a likely release date in 2019.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the tech company has partnered with YouTube and Netflix to develop ways of displaying content on its foldable screen, which might also receive the distinct name: Infinity-V.
This detail surfaced after Samsung trademarked the designation with the Korean intellectual property office. While many await the 7 November unveiling, Samsung will not be the earliest to develop the “world’s first foldable phone.”
Last week, California-based Royole Corporation boasted its bendable gadget called the Flexpai, which has a 7.8-inch display that is able to fold in half.
