Burger King Mocks $120K Banana With Duct-Tape Fry That Leaves You A Cent Poorer

The US$120,000 banana exhibit by artist Maurizio Cattelan at Art Basel made waves online after artist David Datuna decided to peel it off and ate it promptly.
The incident sparked hilarious responses by Twitter and brands and Burger King France too decided to jump on the bandwagon to promote its French fries.
Burger King partnered with advertising agency Buzzman to create its Careful what you swallow campaign. The witty ad showed how the “most expensive fruit” compared to its very own fries, which will only leave you one cent poorer.
Burger King placed the US$120,000 duct taped banana next to its duct taped lone fry, only costing customers €0.01 (US$0.011) price tag.
