Star Wars fans can soon get their hands on Baby Yoda stuffed toys from Build-A-Bear workshops.
Sharon Price John, CEO of the customizable toy store, announced the good news during a conference in Orlando, Florida. “We now will have ‘the Child’, also known as Baby Yoda,” she shared, holding up a Baby Yoda toy in front of her audience.
The plush toy is part of a collaboration between Build-a-Bear, Disney and Lucasfilm, and will see the beloved green alien from Disney+’s The Mandalorian web series debuting in stores in the next few months.
Build-A-Bear began working on the Baby Yoda toys around the same time The Mandalorian’s first episode was released in 2019.
Since then, the character has won the hearts of almost everyone who has chanced upon the little fella, so it’s no surprise that companies would want to cash in on his success.
Hasbro previously unveiled its Baby Yoda toys in December, complete with a broth bowl, ball toy, and Sorgan frog, all famously used by the character in the show.
Target began taking pre-orders last year for its version of Baby Yoda toys, well. There is also a Baby Yoda vinyl figure brought to you by Funko.
