Brad Pitt won an award for himself during the 26th Screen Actor’s Guild awards for his role as Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. His acceptance speech, however, might not have won the audience, specifically director Quentin Tarantino.
The actor started his speech with, “I have to add this to my Tinder profile,” in reference to his pending divorce with Angelina Jolie. He then continued to express his gratitude to his screen partners in the 2019 Tarantino film.
“I want to thank my co-stars,” he began. “Leo, Margot Robbie, Margot Robbie’s feet, Margaret Qualley’s feet, Dakota Fanning’s feet,” which erupted into a burst of roaring laughter from the crowd.
“Seriously, Quentin has separated more women from their shoes than the TSA,” he poked fun at the director.
He also jokingly likened himself to his character Booth. “It was a difficult part. The guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn’t get on with his wife? It’s a big stretch.”
