Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood brought home wins for Brad Pitt in the Supporting Actor category, as well as for production design. It was initially nominated for 10 categories. One thing’s for sure, the director filled the film to its brim with ‘60s references.

The tongue-in-cheek poster with bold typography nods to the iconic long take within the film. 1917 by Sam Mendez was also up for 10 nominations, and nabbed three wins for Visual Effects, Cinematography and Sound Mixing.

It was given even in the poster that Parasite should walk away with the Best Picture award but “you know… subtitles.” However, the film did win the Best Picture award, along with the Best Director award for Bong Joon Ho, International Feature Film award and Original Screenplay for Bong and co-writer Han Jin-won.
Joker by Todd Phillips

Warner Bros.’ Joker was awarded the Lead Actor Award for Joaquin Phoenix and for Original Score, as well. But to Gray, it’s just “another comic-book movie with delusions of grandeur.”
