The COVID-19 epidemic has everyone on high alert, and the Center for Disease Control has unveiled guidelines to protect yourself from the novel coronavirus. One of the ways would be to not touch your face.
It turns out that an average person touches their face 23 times every hour, and the announcement of this prevention measure has led internet users to craft up memes about just how hard it is for them to stop touching their faces.
One user drew upon a meme from Little Women, in which Jo March (played by Saoirse Ronan) profusely admits that she tried something but couldn’t succeed.
Another social media user admitted, “I am pretty sure thinking about not touching my face is making me touch my face 10x more than usual.”
