Australian supermarkets have found themselves in a bizarre toilet paper crisis as shoppers are panic-buying due to the spread of the novel coronavirus. To tackle the situation, grocery store chain Woolworths implemented a four-pack limit per transaction.
For those who didn’t manage to purchase any, NT News has a solution for you.
The paper, known for its cheeky headlines, has left eight pages blank in today’s edition to help those who don’t have any backup supplies.
“Run out of loo paper? We’ve printed an eight-page special liftout inside for you to use in an emergency. Get your limited edition one-ply toilet newspaper sheets,” the paper wrote.
Readers labeled the stunt an act of “genius,” and thanked the newspaper for the act of kindness.
