Apple Releases Free E-Books & Audiobooks To Accompany You During Quarantine

Apple is hoping to immerse you in new worlds while you’re indoors by unleashing free books and audiobooks via its Books app.
Because people shouldn’t be punished for practicing social responsibility in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19, Apple is giving away “free books, read-alongs for kids, cozy mysteries, and audiobooks for the whole family” to US users of the Apple Books app.
If you’re located in the US, you’ll see an alert announcing these limited-time goodies when you open Books. Apple has curated a selection of reads and audiobooks across genres, and you can pick one out of the collection.
In addition to making its resources free, Apple has also revealed some of its favorite apps for those staying or working at home to accompany users during the coronavirus lockdown. These include the premium Nike Training Club app, which is now free.
