MoMA’s Free Online Courses Will Keep You Artsy & Inspired During Self-Isolation

As the coronavirus pandemic lingers on, you can use the extra time on your hands during self-isolation to gain some knowledge about the art world and expand your horizons.
According to i-D, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) has made some courses available for free that you can attend to hone your creative skills. Get in tune with your artistic side by trying out some of them below.
Seeing through Photography
Step further into photography and understand the difference between “seeing and truly understanding photographs” with this lesson. The full course is around 16 hours long with lessons provided via videos, worksheets and assignments.
Fashion as Design
The course dives into the fashion industry and explores around 70 garments and accessories from around the globe, ranging from jeans to 3D-printed gowns. It details the “craftsmanship, universality and self-expression” evolved from fashion.
Contemporary Art
In this course, you will learn about the creative processes of several artists, designers, and architects that could potentially fuel as inspiration to your thought flow. The 17-hour-long syllabus, broken down into various lessons, will explore around 70 works that were created between the 1980s and the present.
