You can spend the relaxation portion of your time in self-isolation solely on free games. Not convinced? Aside from the two PS4 games that PlayStation has just given away, Amazon has been serving up free games every month to Prime subscribers.
The games are playable on live streaming platform Twitch, which is also free to join. For the month of April, Amazon Prime has just rolled out five free video games worth US$102, according to their individual prices on Steam. These titles comprise: Portal-like puzzler Lightmatter; Monument Valley-like puzzle game Etherborn; the remastered version of first-person shooter Turok; detective adventure game Kathy Rain; indie RPG adventure game Earthlock.
You’ll have to sync your Twitch and Prime accounts to add the games, as well as have Amazon Games App or Twitch Desktop installed to play them. After which, head here and click ‘Claim’ under the Games with Prime section.
New games for Amazon Prime members arrive on this page every month, so be sure to check back now and then.
Lightmatter (horror puzzle)
Etherborn (gravity puzzle)
Turok (first-person shooter)
Kathy Rain (point-and-click adventure)
Earthlock (RPG)
