Adobe has launched a new free Photoshop Camera app with AI-powered technologies to take your selfie game to the next level.
Available for both iOS and Android users, the app uses Adobe’s Sensei technology to identify difference scenes in a photo, then offers suitable filters to add a touch of imagination to your snaps.
For example, you can aim your camera at the sky, and Photoshop Camera will add a filter and moving elements like shooting stars to completely transform its look.
Photoshop Camera is designed for the social media generation, and features various impressive filters and custom lenses that might rival some interesting ones from Instagram and Snapchat.
It can also be used to apply filters to existing images in your photo library.
Aside from the effects, basic editing tools are also available, including adjustment options for exposure, contrast, and saturation. There are also AI-enabled features like the Magic Wand tool, as well as the ability to fix portrait lighting and remove distortion.
According to Adobe, the app provides easy-to-use features that even users unfamiliar with Creative Cloud products can readily adopt.
The company plans to add more effects to the app over time, including overlays created in collaboration with artists like Billie Eilish.
