1998 cult favorite film The Truman Show has surely made a mark in many people’s lives. One of them is social media user @moranmarc13, who decided to reveal some hidden details from the film via a Twitter thread. So, if you didn’t know then, now you know.
The film follows Truman Burbank, played by Jim Carrey, who grows up living a normal life, but without him knowing, he is a part of a television show about him with other actors playing various roles in his life.
Moran pointed out one scene where Truman visited a travel agent. It showed the travel agency being late to meet Truman as she was having her makeup done in a rush. This is because she was not supposed to be working on that day.
In the same scene, there are brochures on the rack that were “heavily water-based to play into Truman’s fear of the ocean.” If you look closer, there is also a hidden camera at the top of the rack.
Truman’s catchphrase, “Good morning! And in case I don’t see you, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and Goodnight!” inadvertently addresses The Truman Show viewers from around the world in different time zones.
The film’s tidbits on the Twitter thread has garnered a ton of interactions, with over 300,000 likes and numerous contributions from fellow movie buffs.

In one scene, you can see that Truman has to take Vitamin D supplements in the morning. This is because he doesn't get any natural Vitamin D, as there is no real sunlight in the TV set he lives in pic.twitter.com/QPVlL7wmK8
