A British MP was having a Zoom meeting with his coworkers when his adorable cat made a hilarious appearance in the call.
John Nicolson, MP for Ochil and South Perthshire, was taking part in a conference call with the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee and questioning why subtitles were not being displayed on children’s television to increase literacy, when his cat Rojo walked past the screen and flaunted his orange tail.
The politician continued to speak while his cat’s bushy tail interrupted the discussion.
“I apologize for my cat’s tail,” he said in the video, after hearing laughter from his colleagues in the meeting. He then gently moved the stubborn cat’s tail away from the camera, commanding, “Rojo, put your tail down.”
Social media users were delighted when they saw the furry feline interrupting the Parliament meeting.
Nicolson also shared a photo of Rojo after his feline friend made waves online.

A number of people have written, trying to set Rojo up on a blind date. Several have suggested he should hook up with Choupette. As his agent can I just make it clear he’ll never marry for money. pic.twitter.com/PXhPkZhWHa
