It looks like Olivia Wilde could be directing a female-led superhero film for Marvel Studios, and it is rumored to be based on Spider-Woman.
Deadline announced the supposed secret project, adding that Wilde and Katie Silberman will be writing the film reportedly being produced by Amy Pascal.
The Spider-Woman character has been undertaken by several roles in the Spider-Man comic book serie, including Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, and Jessica Drew.
For the film, however, there aren’t any further details on Wilde’s potential directorship. Fans can only cross their fingers to see Zendaya, who played the role of Michelle “MJ” Jones, appearing in the film after 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.
