Sacha Baron Cohen was seen dressed up in the getup of his infamous Borat Sagdiyev character from the 2006 film Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan in a TikTok video.
TikTok user @alexandheir posted the clip, which saw Cohen in the character’s iconic mustache and grey suit, driving along Long Beach, California on Sunday.
Cohen appeared to be sitting in a yellow truck, which was towed by a film rig on the highway. The film crew seemed to be capturing Cohen attempting to take off his coat behind the wheels. This led many to believe that Cohen might be reprising his role as Borat in an upcoming film.
Cohen’s Borat character, depicting a Kazakh journalist, skyrocketed to international fame after the 2006 film. Although the character was intended to be a satirical commentary at racists, misogynists, and homophobes, many deemed the role to be offensive to the people of Kazakhstan.
