Amazon’s latest AR shopping tool lets you view furniture and other home decorations in your living space before purchasing them.
According to TechCrunch, the ‘Room Decorator’ function, accessible in the Amazon shopping app for iOS and desktop browsers, lets shoppers visualize several items at scale at the same time.
You can even save photos of your home space so you can use the feature remotely when you’re out and about, and then refer to various room layouts to make a more informed decision.
The “View in Your Room” button at the bottom of the app allows you to see the products in real-time. To look up your saved layouts, you can click on the “Your Rooms” section in your Amazon account.
The previous AR shopping tool released by Amazon in 2017 could only enable you to view one item in an area at a time. However, the new function will now let you visualize multiple items at once.
