A new Starbucks outlet in South Korea will offer gorgeous views of the famous Han River.
The Seoul Wave Art Center, which is located at the Han River Park, recently announced that the new Starbucks Wave will replace the present Coffeewave in September 2020 when it is set to open its doors to the public.
The building boasts floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering a scenic view of Seoul’s pristine waters. On top of that, this creates the illusion that guests are “hovering” above the waters.
The Starbucks location will be unlike others that are made of wood and greenery. This branch will float on top of the Han River, making you feel like you are on a cruise ship while sipping on a cup of coffee.
At night, the building will illuminate in warm golden light, transforming the entire coffee place into something magical.
While photos of the new Starbucks outlet have not been released, here are snaps of the previous café, Coffeewave, which will give you a glimpse of what the new outlet will look like. The interior space follows a clean and minimalistic design while the massive glass windows allow customers to bask in the golden rays of the sun.
The plush sofas also allow you to read your favorite book or spend a couple of hours to recharge yourself. While most might not be allowed to travel for leisure due to the pandemic, you can head to Seoul Wave Art Center’s Instagram to learn more about the new location.
