MUJI has released its own line of reusuable cloth face masks to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Designed with protection and comfort in mind, these handy masks feature three breathable layers of lightweight cotton and polypropylene to protect users from germs and viruses.
MUJI Canada has released a clip on Instagram demonstrating how to effectively clean and dry the personal mask. Note that the garment should not be machine-washed or bleached, and wearers should opt for gentle cleansers, such as light moisturizing toning water or neutral detergent, to clean it.
MUJI recommends soaking its mask in lukewarm water to rinse off the cleanser, instead of scrubbing the soap off. Then, pat it dry with a clean towel or air it where there is good ventilation before reusing it.
The mask, currently retailing at MUJI Canada stores in Ontario and British Columbia, comes in a pack of two for CA$9.90 (US$7.49).
