Star Wars’ Mark Hamill squared off against Star Trek’s Patrick Stewart in the latest ad for UberEats.
The humorous ad, which is set in an abandoned warehouse, sees Hamill carrying a baseball bat. He turns to the camera and says, “Tonight, I’ll be eating a veggie cheeseburger on ciabatta, no tomatoes.” Stewart, on the other hand, carries a cricket mallet. “Tonight, I’ll be eating four cheese tortellini with extra tomatoes,” he adds while glancing at Hamill.
Both actors do not seem to agree on how the word tomatoes is pronounced. Hamill insists that it is said as “toe-may-toes” while Stewart declares it as “toe-maa-toes.”
They then raise their blunt weapons after their UberEats orders arrive. While they continue bickering, the ad cuts to an UberEats bag with the tagline, “Tonight I’ll be eating…” while Hamill is heard saying, “I’m not sure I got that right,” as the ad comes to an end.
Stewart shared the ad on his Twitter account, while teasing the debate in the ad. “Honored to have battled it out with @hamillhimself to settle one of the greatest debate of all time: what’s for dinner,” he wrote alongside the clip.
