LinkedIn has redesigned its platform for desktop and mobile to embody a modern, sleek look with a streamlined search experience.
The social network strives to be more human-orientated with less formal “blue” shades in its layout. The focus is now on its users with its clean and simple appearance.
LinkedIn has also added a new Stories feature, much like the ones available on Instagram and Facebook. It will be located at the top section for users to easily look up updates from their connections.
However, it comes with a little twist. LinkedIn has integrated unique tools to the Stories feature such as ‘Question of the Day’ and ‘Localized Stickers’. The first will let users respond to a daily topic presented by LinkedIn, and the latter will provide specific stickers tied to each region for users to add to their posts.
LinkedIn Stories will first launch in the US and Canada, before rolling out globally in the following weeks.
