Good news, gamers! The highly-anticipated Super Nintendo World in Japan is now set to open in Spring 2021 to offer visitors an experience of a “life-size, living video game.”
According to the Japanese company, the park will be filled with exciting rides, interactive areas, shops and restaurants featuring Nintendo’s beloved characters and games.
Visitors will receive a “power up band” park pass, which will allow them to use their smartphones to battle opponents and collect coins in the style of the Super Mario game.
The Nintendo theme park was initially scheduled to open ahead of the Tokyo Summer Olympics. However, both the theme park and games were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
