Mere weeks before the 2020 election, Kanye West has released his first video for his presidential run.
The ad starts with the rapper standing in front of the American flag as he urges citizens to reflect about the meaning of “true justice,” as well as having a vision for the future.
He then rallies viewers to have faith through prayer. “By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people, God intends us to be,” West says in the video.
There is a card that appears at the end of the clip, which states “Write in Kanye West” to prompt voters to submit his name for the presidential elections.
West has had a tumultuous journey for his presidential campaign so far. He has missed ballot deadlines for several states, including Florida and Michigan, and held a contentious rally in North Charleston.
However, he is not backing down in his hope of becoming the next president of America. Watch his first campaign video below.
